About Osor Holiday House Villmar
Osor Holiday House VillMar is a unique and historic rustic house, nestled in the very heart of Osor, with a rich history dating back to the 16th century.
Built in 1530 by the noble Draza family of Osor, this house is a testament to their legacy. In addition to owning properties in Osor and Cres, the Draza family contributed to the region’s architectural heritage by financing several significant structures, such as the bell tower of Osor’s church, the monastery in Nerezine, and the tower above Nerezine. The Draza family coat of arms is proudly displayed on these landmarks.
At the entrance of VillMar, you’ll find a stone wall bearing the Draza family coat of arms along with the inscription:
“Lord, look at this treasure acquired with diligence, MDXXX.”
